World renowned for its natural beauty, the city of Rio de Janeiro is the perfect place for sightseeing by helicopter.
Operating in the skies over Rio since 1991, Helisight offers 8 wonderful tours, lasting from 6 to 60 minutes. Due to the privileged location of our helipads in post-card settings, within moments of take-off new visions of known sights are revealed.

As we fly around the Christ statue, we can see details impossible to discern from a distance: the painstaking workmanship of the statue itself and its perfect balance and coherence with the mass of the mountain on which it sits. Further afield, we overfly Tijuca National Park, the lungs of the city, towards the vastness of Barra da Tijuca and the beauty of the mountains and peaks. We observe the coexistence of a cosmopolitan city with the resort atmosphere of the beach and open-air activities.

Helipads:
Dona Marta, has been operational since 1991 on the hill of the same name, in Tijuca National Park, facing Corcovado Mountain and the Christ Statue.
Morro da Urca, strategically located facing the Sugar Loaf, on the first stage of the ride up the famous mountain.
Lagoa, in front of the BR Service Station and at Parque dos Patins - now a self-contained centre for leisure and gastronomy.
Pier Mauá, we operate out of the Mauá docks during cruise ship stopovers - Helipad located just 300 meters from Passengers´ Station.

Helisight’s fleet of aircraft is safe and modern and meets the highest international standards of maintenance.

Maintenance is carried out in our own workshops enabling us to ensure timely and efficient work is carried out to manufacturer’s specifications.

	Training and Safety
	Staff training in helipad managements is carried out by specialized instructors with solid experience in all facets of safety. Helisight maintains a continuous programme of in service training for workshop staff, air and land crews. Passenger safety is a key issue in our training programme. Our staff orientation has two focal points. First, we supply passengers with all information needed to guarantee safe and comfortable flights. Live demonstrations of safety procedures are accompanied by an explanatory leaflet. Second, a strategically placed Flight Manager directs passengers on boarding and disembarkation guiding passengers and providing them with relevant information. Our professional teams are trained to the highest standards, and undergo stringent in service training every 180 days.
